The Triennale of Milan hosted on 2 July fashion parades by fourteen schools of Italian fashion. The event, sponsored by the Chamber of Fashion, revealed the heat of future transgressive talents, but already equipped with professional tricks. The event, which lasted all day, ended with the proclamation of a winner selected by a panel of experts, made up of, among others, Carlo Capasa, president of The Chamber of Fashion, Sara Maino of Vogue Italy, and Roberta Valentini owner of the concept store Penelope in Brescia. Giulia Guadagni of the Istituto Marangoni was awarded the prize with a women’s collection that cleverly hybridizes topicality of the trend with a virtuoso performance direct from the manual, able to give the aura of couture to the clothing.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
