The relationship between humans and animals is contradictory, and characterized by extreme love or hatred. There are those who bequeath assets to the domestic dog or cat, and those who slaughter them for fun. This contradiction depends on the instinctual nature of the connection. Instinctive is also the relationship with their simulacra, objects and depictions in the form of animals, with which we love to surround ourselves. A living pet is the silent partner of lonely days, the patient confidant of stories that does not ask for an answer. Similar is the relationship with their effigies, effectively representing the metaphor of the human need for friendly relations with things. It is not by chance that talking animals always turn up in fairy tales.

The Moodboarders is a glance into the design world, which, in all of its facets, captures the extraordinary even within the routine. It is a measure of the times. It is an antenna sensitive enough to pick-up on budding trends, emerging talents and neglected aesthetics. Instead of essays, we use brief tales to tune into the rhythm of our world. We travelled for a year without stopping, and seeing as the memory of this journey has not faded, we have chosen to edit a printed copy. We eliminated anything episodic, ephemeral or fading, maintaining a variety of articles that flow, without losing the element of surprise, the events caught taking place, and the creations having just bloomed.
