Spas are places to regenerate your body and clear your mind. In imperial Rome they were also a great place to meet people and do business, but in a contemporary city spas are simply oases of total relax where one can retreat for a short “flight from reality”.
The structure of QC Termeroma combines the charm of the antique with contemporary comfort just a few kilometres from the capital, in the natural reserve of Porto. The estate, overlooking lago di Traiano(Traiano lake), owned by Count Ascanio Sforza Cesarini in the early twentieth century, now houses the district QC Termeroma.
The charming Spa occupies what was once the “caciara”, or the cheese storage. Vaulted ceilings, natural skylights, hidden staircases and secret passages are the architectural frame in which sensory tubs, whirlpools, saunas, steam baths, waterfalls and fountains are embedded. For those wishing to spend the night on site, a luxury five- star hotel surrounded by greenery offers comfortable rooms alongside the thermal plant.
