The El Pintón in Seville is a series of rooms, hallways, and outside areas all connected amongst themselves. The locale is spread around a magnificent central patio inside in the Peyre building, which was constructed by the Andalusian architect Aníbal González. Lucas y Hernández – Gil Arquitectos brought the El Pintón to life, and they began by removing everything that had accumulated over time in order to restore the space’s original look. Each of the rooms has its individual characteristics, but a common thread is the expansive use pale wood and lime mortar on the walls. Plants have been carefully placed to create a perfect balance between the inside and outside. The furnishings were designed ad hoc or selected from celebrated companies like Magis, Driade, and Fermob. The El Pintón is a cocktail and tapas bar, accessible directly from the street, that exudes pure enjoyablefnishes Spanish style.
